Speech-Language Pathology & Accent Modification Services
Our human ability to verbally communicate is unique. It enables us to build relationships, learn from others and live successfully in our society. Even so, conservative efforts place the number of Americans with some form of speech or language disorder at nearly 10 million, or roughly one in every 20 people. This staggering number does not even include the multitude of people with speech differences that although not considered actual 'disorders' have a crippling impact on daily living.
Speech related disorders result from a number of causes including, but not limited to birth defects, developmental delays, injury, disease or stroke. Communication Nation provides services such as evaluation, diagnosis and treatment of clients of all ages with a comprehensive and individualized approach.
Speech differences are just that - differences. Living in a veritable melting pot of accents and linguistic variation in the United States, individual speech patterns may impact one's ability to fully express ideas or to be understood.
We work closely with pediatricians, physicians, ear, nose & throat specialists, parents, teachers, corporations and the community to ensure the very best of services extended to our clients. Our experienced Speech Language Pathologist has helped people throughout New Jersey, New York & Pennsylvania develop or recover communication skills in order to lead fuller lives.
Speech therapy services are provided in the client's home to enhance performance and generalization of skills in the natural context.
Accent modification programs are offered both for individuals and groups with locations ranging from the home or office to community settings.
